We spent the long Memorial Day weekend up in Johnson City visiting Toby's family. We had a great time and the kids traveled pretty well with their portable TVs going full force. Abby watches Dora and Beau likes Baby Einstein. I don't know how people traveled anywhere before those things with kids that age!! I hope everyone had a great long weekend!! Papaw swinging his grandson in the front yard. This is the house Toby grew up in for those of you that have never seen it...

Chattanooga Fun
I took the kids to Chattanooga on Thursday for a day trip to visit my friend Amber and her little boy Andrew. We had a great time, and Amber was a great hostess. Thank-you, Amber!! We started out the day at the aquarium, which the kids seemed to really like. Beau loved the stingrays (or putting his hand in the water and trying to catch them), chasing butterflies in the butterfly room, and the huge aquarium with the glass from the floor to the ceiling that has all kinds of fish, turtles, sharks, etc. Abby loved the penguins and has not quit talking about the scuba divers that were swimming with the sharks. She is absolutely convinced that all she needs to be able to swim like a pro is a pair of goggles! We are hoping to go up again soon-we had so much fun! Amber and Andrew playing in the water.

Sesame Street Personality Quiz
I ran across this "Sesame Street Personality Quiz" through someone else's blog and felt compelled to take it due to oldest child's love of sesame street. Apparently I am most like Bert. Sadly, this does not surprise me! (If you would like to take it just click on the link.) Very silly, I know...I should be doing our laundry and cleaning the bathroom. Instead, I am taking a Sesame Street personality quiz. What is wrong with me?

YMCA
Sunday after church we made a trip over the Abby's school where they put on their spring music performance. Abby was quite a star as she sang YMCA with her class for their 70's segment. Under her "A" shirt she made at school she is sporting a real YMCA shirt that her Uncle Michael got for her. (She practiced her singing with him while they were in town last weekend.) After the show all of the performers and their families were treated to ice cream on the lawn. It was a fun and beautiful day! We are proud of Abby!!
