The kids went back to school this week!Abby started 1st grade with a half day on Wednesday. She is in class with Mrs. Keen at First Baptist again. This year she started wearing uniforms - which is just about the cutest thing I think I have ever seen. There is a little jumper that is an option, but Abby refuses to wear it, sticking diligently to the skorts. She is really excited to be going back and is ready to learn, which is so nice for Mommy:) Homework here we come!
Beau started K4 (pre-k for all of you Tennesseeans reading). He will be going to school every day this year (sniff, sniff)! He is more than ready to go - never looking back or hesitating about starting something new. He is all smiles and poses, and never hesitates to jump right in and enjoy himself. He has Mrs. Caraway this year, and is in class with lots of his buddies, so I know he will have a great (half of a) year at First Baptist.
We adore the kids' school year and will miss it terribly when we move. They have been a wonderful blessing to our family, and not only teach, but love, our children. We are excited to start another school year. Here we go!!!
